Bay Area Black Realtors is a black-owned directory. Founded in 2021, our community was born out of the desire to make it easier to find Black Real Estate Agents in the Bay Area to work with.
Our Mission
Our mission is to connect buyers, sellers and other agents with Black Realtors in the San Francisco Bay Area, and to provide helpful information to help buyers and sellers on their real estate journey.
Our Founder
Bay Area Black Realtors Directory was founded by Montana Gabrielle Hooks (DRE 02138118), a licensed East Bay Realtor who was raised the Tri-City area of San Francisco Bay Area. She has been a resident of Oakland, CA since 2013.
She has deep ties to the East Bay entrepreneurial community, and is an active member in professional real estate groups CAR (California Assoc. of REALTORS) & NAR (National Assoc. of REALTORS.
On a personal level, some of her favorite things include rollerskating by Lake Merritt, maintaining her houseplant jungle, performing live karaoke and playing her Thunderbird bass guitar.
